MR - Medical Review

MMR's Actuarial Assessments were developed as an aid in determination of the LE and related Statistical /Actuarial Values for a Patient, given a Patient's Personal Data, Diagnosis, Family History, Patho-Physiology and additional significant information including Laboratory Data.

The Input Data initiates the building of an individual Life Table (LT). The underlying base table is proprietary, and initially heavily relies on publicly available records from the following resources.

MMR INPUT DATA RESOURCES
  • The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS)
  • The Society of Actuaries (SOA)
  • The American Academy of Actuaries (AAA)
  • And many other Associations and Organizations
  • However, the LT is an ever-evolving "Work-In-Progress" as MMR gathers additional critical information and data. The base table Male/Female Ultimate only contains "qx's" (the common notation for the probability of dying during a certain year of life, "x" being the year of interest).

The program determines the Patient's age at nearest birthday, and retrieves a respective string of base "q's," which are then multiplied by Risk Factors, with the cap remaining at 1.
